The 27-year-old Khalifa has been one of the top rappers in the industry since he first made a splash in the genre in 2011. It was then that he released Rolling Papers, which peaked at No.2 on the Billboard 200 charts and has been certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America for selling more than 500,000 copies. In the years that have passed, he has since released two additional solo studio albums and an album with hip hop legend, Snoop Dogg. When he takes the stage for his set on this tour, his fans will hope to hear a solid mixture of his new and old material including “Black and Yellow,” “Young, Wild, & Free,” “Roll Up,” “We Own It,” and “Work Hard, Play Hard.”
The other headlining act joining Khalifa on “The Boyz of Zummer Tour 2015” will be the pup, punk, and rock group, Fall Out Boy. They have been active in the music business since 2001 after joining forces in a Chicago suburb. The group has released six studio albums including their most recent release, American Beauty/American Psycho, which was just released this week. To date, their most successful album was From Under the Cork Tree, which sold more than 2 million copies in the Unites States, earning Platinum certification from the RIAA. Fans looking to see Fall Out Boy perform live on this summer tour will also look to hear some of their biggest hits including “Sugar, We’re Going Down,” “This Ain’t a Scene, It’s an Arms Race,” "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)," “Centuries,” and “Uma Thurman.”
Also joining these two massive acts will be Hoodie Allen, an independent rapper from Long Island, NY. He released his first album last October and saw it reach No. 8 on the Billboard 200 charts.
Usually, Wiz Khalifa ventures out on the “Under the Influence Music Tour,” but decided to change things up this summer and hit the road with Fall Out Boy and Hoodie Allen.
