Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) January 21, 2014 -- Specialty fashion brand Free People announces the addition of an all-new category to its highly read BLDG 25 Blog: ‘Love Stories.’ The BLDG 25 Blog’s loyal readers have expressed time and time again that they love love, and Free People is giving them more of what they want with stories of real-life love. With the blog’s staples of Fashion, Music, Beauty, Food, DIY, Décor, and Inspiration, the addition of this category will allow Free People’s eclectic and free-spirited customer to share and inspire the brand’s community through their own stories, style, and life.
A new couple will be featured every other week on the BLDG 25 Blog, their stories hand-selected by Free People’s editorial team. Each feature will create a visual and narrative tale of a couple’s personal journey together, photographed intimately in their own element.
“As a brand we’ve always been moved by love,” says Free People Creative Director, Doub Hanshaw. “We were inspired to seek out real couples and ask them to share the unique circumstances that brought them together – no two people have the same story. There is nothing more captivating than seeing people who are genuinely in love, and we think the imagery and heartwarming stories will be an incredible addition to the BLDG 25 Blog.”
Love has long been a prominent theme for the Free People brand. In 2013, fans followed along the “Roshambo” short film saga between actors Christopher Abbott and Sheila Marquez. The first installment alone received nearly a half million views, was named a Vimeo Staff Pick, and won three awards for Best Actress, Best Direction, and Best Picture at the 2013 La Jolla Fashion Film Festival. Further exploring the kaleidoscope of love this past year, Free People set Daisy Lowe a-flirting in a short film titled, “Neighbor,” and also faced fans with a couple’s heart wrenching breakup in “The Cabin.” The BLDG 25 Blog and Free People are now turning this theme into a reality with ‘Love Stories.’
The category addition comes at a time of great success for the blog. Since its launch seven years ago, the unique content focused on the Free People lifestyle has created a loyal following. Readers return time and time again to get check out features on everything from natural beauty and healthy eating, to DIY tutorials and music.
Readers should head to http://blog.freepeople.com/love-stories/ to follow along. The category is planned to live on as a permanent feature, and is open to submissions. Interested in having your ‘Love Story’ featured? Send an email to Blog(at)FreePeople(dot)com.
