Family Dollar Announces Its "Just Add Family" National Contest Winner

(NYSE: FDO) today announced that Sandy Williams of Plainfield, Illinois was the national winner of the Just Add Family contest. Chosen from thousands of online entries where people uploaded family photos and shared personal stories, Williams’ entry embodied the spirit of food, family, and fun. Her family’s community involvement and commitment to making the Chicagoland area a better place to live impressed the panel of Family Dollar judges. Celebrity Chef Pat Neely surprised the family with the announcement this morning at Williams’ home. Williams and her family will now receive an all-expense paid family reunion for up to 100 guests and a year’s worth of free groceries from Family Dollar. The Just Add Family reunion will take place at Washington Park in Chicago on Saturday, July 11.
