Family Owned 3A Automotive Service Celebrates 40 Years in Phoenix
Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) July 14, 2015 -- 3A Automotive Service is a family-owned and operated, full-service preventive maintenance and auto repair facility that since its foundation in 1975, by Jim and Earlene Alauria, has focused on friendly service and making their customers’ cars safe and last.
Since 1975, Jim Alauria has been hands on and is proud 3A Automotive Service is what it is today. “I have always enjoyed the work. In all of these years, there hasn't been a day where I have wished to have a different job. The art of fixing things has always brought me joy,” said Jim. He went on to point out that this has been a family affair since day one. “My dad was the one who helped me open up the garage originally and it is such an honor to have watched my son grow into the family business, as well. Jimmy has has been working with me the last fifteen years and is now the President of the business. Two generations of Alaurias - I couldn’t be more proud,” said Jim.
Jim’s expertise and old school approach and practices have given this family business its heart and soul and the foundation for the business to continue to grow for years to come. “We all help out,” stressed Jim, who built the business from the ground up and who is still heavily involved today. “The family being so involved with the day-to-day is what gives us an edge over so many other businesses out there. We have been in the business a long time and have seen it all. We don’t need to rely on technology alone - we have years worth of experience.”
What does the future hold for 3A Automotive Service? The shop continues to grow and evolve even after forty years. Currently they have one location, but recently expanded and added on two additional property-sized lots with future plans of remodeling. The space allows for bigger jobs and will help to offer even better service to their clients. In addition, they plan on adding more offices and hiring more employees.
As for advice of lasting in business, Jim Alauria said, "If you have a passion, you should follow that passion. Younger people going into this trade should not be afraid to tackle the problems head on. It's more rewarding than money. You did that. You did that repair. It is still out there, still working, and that is something to be proud of."
