Fanco Group Announces Correction to Labels for Surface-Mount Ceiling Luminaires

CALGARY ALBERTA (PRWEB) January 02, 2016 -- Fanco Group has issued the following notification for its US customers. The company is announcing a correction to labels applied by Fanco Group Factory. The labels for a ceiling mount luminaire that have UL markings on them should have ETL markings on them.

The following is a notification from Fanco Group that the ceiling mount luminaire identified below bears an UL Label for the United States and Canada. The luminaires have been evaluated by ETL to the appropriate Standards for Safety and it is known that these luminaires comply with ETL (Intertek) for Canada and United States safety requirements. The label that was applied by Fanco Group Factory says "UL" but should be an ETL Approved Label. This is for the 16 inch FM4 Flushmounts only.

Fanco Group Factory in Error applied UL label instead of ETL label on Some FM416 products from Factory. This has been Corrected and was on a small volume of Flushmounts.

The purpose of this release is to ensure that customers that come across the issue of the incorrect labels being marked UL and have any concerns that they can contact ETL for proper test results for these fixtures.
