Fans set to embrace Giggs appointment as Manchester United go back to the start
(PRWEB UK) 26 April 2014 -- David Moyes Manchester United tenure of just 9 months and 22 days will go down as one of the clubs most disastrous reigns of all time with records being broken every week, with the club set to record their lowest ever finishing position in the Premier League era, having previously finished no lower than third. However the departure of Moyes earlier this week has been met with cheer by audiences of Football.co.uk and the appointment of club veteran Ryan Giggs as interim manager has created a buzz amongst fans of the Red Devils on Football.co.uk's social media platforms, as the famous club looks to get back to winning ways.
Head of Operations at DSG, Matthew Tait has this to say, “This season has been especially tough for fans of Manchester United, with seeing their club crash out of the FA Cup, Capital One Cup and Champions League as well as watching humiliating defeats to rivals Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea. With Moyes now gone the club will be looking to rediscover the form that has made them such a force in the Premier League and in Europe.”
Jason Hope, Content Manager of DSG believes Giggs temporary appointment will bring the feel good factor back to Old Trafford. “Before this season, teams went to Old Trafford and thought of it as a fortress for Manchester United, a place where they'd be lucky to pick up a point but that all changed this season. Now though, Giggs, with the help of Phil Neville, Nicky Butt and Paul Scholes will be helping to bring back that fear factor in the clubs last 3 home games of the season. There is once again an air of excitement at United, instead of the doom and gloom of Moyes' tenure.”
