Farm Credit Donates $1,600 to Delmarva’s Bless Our Children Campaign
Westminster, MD (PRWEB) December 13, 2016 -- MidAtlantic Farm Credit staff across Delmarva collected $1,600 to donate to WBOC’s annual Bless Our Children Campaign, benefitting children and families in need across the region. The campaign has raised over so far $150,000 this year.
“We are fortunate to live and work in a wonderful community here on Delmarva,” says Stuart Cooper, MidAtlantic Farm Credit’s Delmarva Division Vice President. “Being able to help make the holidays a little brighter for those less fortunate is something we are very proud of.”
For over a decade, local news station WBOC has been raising money through the Bless Our Children campaign. All donations are distributed to various charitable groups across Delmarva to purchase holiday gifts for families in need. In 2015, over $245,000 was collected from area residents and businesses.
