Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour Chain Drops OpenTable, SeatMe and Chooses Rezku Reservation System
Sacramento, California (PRWEB) July 16, 2014 -- While the attention of the restaurant reservation industry has been focused on Priceline's recent 2.6 billion dollar bid for OpenTable and Yelp's acquisition of SeatMe for $12.7 million, a small company out of Sacramento is quietly gaining marketshare.
DinnerWire, Inc. launched Rezku Reservation System just months ago and is already building a reputation as a technological leader in the competitive reservation space. "It seems like dozens of companies have tried to compete with OpenTable over the years," DinnerWire's CEO Paul Katsch explains. “Our focus? We Want to help restaurants better serve their guests. We do not focus on competing against OpenTable or SeatMe. We set out to create a system that not only takes online reservations, but also helps restaurants succeed."
Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour, a popular American restaurant chain with several locations throughout the West Coast used OpenTable in a number of locations and then later test marketed both SeatMe and Rezku. Farrell’s has since signed a multi-year partnership with Rezku. "After the test, our decision was easy. We're too busy to use SeatMe's iPad app, and we wanted a more intuitive system to manage our front-of-house,” explains Paul Kramer, President of Parlour, Inc.
"Farrell's goal is to provide the best experience for our guests, and Rezku makes it easier than ever to do that," Kramer continues. “Plain and simple, Rezku gives us more time to connect with our guests, which results in a better overall experience."
And DinnerWire is promising more products supporting its mission to help restaurants become more successful. “We're carving out our own niche here, building technology that supports restaurants from the ground up,” Katsch said. "We're launching 3 more products this year. We want the restaurants that use our system to have an unprecedented advantage.”
