Fashion Portfolio Academy Launches Fashion Era Competition
New York City, NY (PRWEB) January 29, 2014 -- Inspired by memorable fashion eras, leading fashion design academy, Fashion Portfolio Academy, is excited to launch a Fashion Era Competition that will encourage and inspire future fashion designers to sketch a modern and wearable ensemble.
“The 2014 Fashion Era Games will take aspiring designers step-by-step through the process of developing a unique and modern design, much like today’s fashion icons,” says Fashion Portfolio Academy founder Francisca Pineda.
Fashion Portfolio Academy will be making a correlating video series on how fashion history inspires leading designers like Marc Jacobs, Alexander McQueen and Miuccia Prada. The competition begins in February and runs through March. A panel of fashion history and design leaders will pick a first, second and third place winter in April.
Interested participants can sign up to join the Fashion Portfolio Academy’s Fashion Era Games, a series of free online seminars to motivate aspiring designers to follow through and succeed in their fashion goals at https://fashionacademy.leadpages.net/fashion-era-games/
