Franchisee Mike Uehling announced plans for the grand opening celebration for Saturday, June 13 with free 3-topping 9-inch pizza for everyone in line from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The restaurant will have other special offers for its grand opening celebration. Also opening in June is a new Smyrna Uncle Maddio’s located at 4340 East-West Connector South Cobb Drive in the Old Ivy Village.
“Before I was a franchisee I was a fan of the restaurant,” said Mike Uehling, Uncle Maddio’s franchisee. “My wife Kelly-Blaine and I love the food, the ‘served with love’ culture, and can’t wait to bring it to our new hometown.”
Uehling is no stranger to the restaurant business. He spent the past 15 years in the industry working for Ruby Tuesdays, and also served as manager for the Chili’s restaurant in Times Square in New York City. Uehling’s wife, Kelly-Blaine, who grew up in Fayetteville, has joined him as a partner in the business and both of them look forward to making Newnan their hometown.
The opening of the Newnan restaurants will mark the 13th Uncle Maddio’s locations in Atlanta and the 14th in the state.
