Fayetteville Home to New Upscale Ladies Boutique, Opening Off Glensford Drive October 3rd.
Fayetteville, NC (PRWEB) September 25, 2015 -- Monkee’s of Fayetteville, an upscale ladies boutique that features designer shoes, clothing and accessories, will open October 3rd at 322 Glensford Drive, in Unit 106. The store is located in Glensford Way, a fast-developing shopping center that is anchored by new retailers to the area such as The Fresh Market and Bonefish Grill.
Owner Anna Owen is a franchisee of North Carolina-based Monkee’s, a company founded in Wilmington. The Fayetteville store is the 13th North Carolina location for the brand, and the boutiques have a loyal following throughout the southeast and beyond. Customers can currently shop in 8 different states, with further expansion scheduled for early 2016. Established in 1995, Monkee’s was built on a love of fashion, and grown through a focus on personal customer relationships. The company is currently celebrating 20 years of successfully styling women in a fun and friendly atmosphere. The highlight of this special milestone year was receiving the 2015 Retailer of the Year Award by the North Carolina Retail Merchant’s Association (NCRMA).
“I believe we are bringing something new and exciting to the Fayetteville area. Many women were traveling to shop in other cities. My goal is to allow them to shop in their hometown and have great options right around the corner,” said Owen.
Anna Owen, a Lumberton native and current Fayetteville resident, may be new to store ownership but she has been part of the Monkee’s family for several years. During her time at East Carolina University, Owen worked at the Greenville, NC location during the school year, and the Wilmington flagship store during the summer. Upon moving after graduation, she filled the role of store manager at Monkee’s of Chapel Hill.
“I felt ready to take that next step and open my own Monkee’s boutique,” Owen said. “I love the camaraderie that the Monkee’s owners have. We are like one big family and we look out for each other. I also enjoy traveling with them to the various markets each season.”
Gleaming white cabinetry, signature chandeliers and the lounge-friendly shoe galleries are all staples in a Monkee’s store. However, each location has a personality of its own with unique fabrics, furniture and decor.
“I want to create a warm and welcoming environment for everyone, where we will always go the extra mile to help our customers. It is not just about the merchandise, it is about the experience,” said Owen.
Monkee's of Fayetteville will carry new and exciting designer labels of shoes, clothing and accessories with a wide variety of styles and price ranges. This stylish owner is excited to feature Trina Turk, Tyler Boe, Alice and Trixie, Amanda Uprichard, Splendid and DL1961 – just to name a few.
After months of anticipation and planning, Monkee's of Fayetteville will open the doors with a Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, October 3rd from 10am to 6pm. Festivities will include trunk shows by Trina Turk, Frye and Mollybeads. Customers will also enjoy a gift with purchase on Saturday while supplies last and a chance to enter to win a special giveaway. The trunk shows will continue on Sunday, October 4th from 12-5pm.
