FDA Commissioner Margaret A. Hamburg, M.D. Added as Keynote for CED Life Science Conference 2014
Durham, NC (PRWEB) October 30, 2013 -- CED (Council for Entrepreneurial Development) and its partners NCBIO and the North Carolina Biotechnology Center announce the addition of Margaret A. Hamburg, M.D, Commissioner of U.S. Food and Drug Administration, as a keynote speaker for the CED Life Science Conference 2014. The Conference takes place February 26 – 27, 2014 at the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh, NC.
“The next six years will be marked by change and shifting boundaries for all aspects of the life sciences industry,” said Joan Siefert Rose, president of CED. “The insights Dr. Hamburg brings from the FDA will highlight the collaboration that will be required across all disciplines, and the important role of regulators. Previously announced keynotes include Clay Christensen, Harvard Business School Professor and author of The Innovator’s Dilemma; Michael Astrue, former Commissioner of the Social Security Administration and interim CEO of InVivo Therapeutics; and Christopher Austin, Director of the National Institute of Health’s National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences.
