Featherlight.co Graduates from Alchemist Accelerator Program

Featherlight is helping companies get rid of the annual performance review. The cloud-based platform available on any device makes it easy for employees to learn continuously through knowledge-sharing and feedback. The platform also provides actionable analytics and reports to managers that enable them to be better coaches and hold more effective one-on-ones. “With the increasing competitiveness of the talent marketplace, imminent retirement of the Boomer generation and lack of readiness of Millennials to take on positions of leadership, closing skill gaps and the transfer of knowledge has become a crucial focus of organizations hoping to stay competitive, or frankly, even just exist, in the future,” says Kelsey Conophy, founder and CEO of Featherlight.
The Alchemist Accelerator is a six-month program, accepting roughly 10 companies every four months. As part of the program, Alchemist founders are mentored by a large network of high caliber experts and coaches, including Timothy Chou, former CEO of Oracle-on-Demand and Vinod Khosla, founder of Khosla Ventures and Sun Microsystems. Gary Swart, former CEO of oDesk, and Mike Olsen, CEO of Cloudera were recently added to this group.
More than half of Alchemist companies go on to raise institutional funds from some of the top venture capital firms in the valley. The list now includes Foundation Capital, in addition to Andreessen Horowitz, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Founders Fund, Greylock Ventures, Khosla Ventures, Redpoint Ventures, Storm Ventures, and True Ventures.
