Feathr's Event Marketing Cloud Wins SISO "Battlefield"
GAINESVILLE, FL (PRWEB) August 11, 2015 -- Feathr, a startup company building digital marketing software for conference and trade show organizers, was voted the winner of the Third Annual Event Innovation Battlefield last week at the Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO) Leadership Conference in Dallas, TX.
Four technology companies were invited to pitch the exclusive audience of approximately 250 event industry executives. Each was given fifteen minutes of stage time (including audience Q&A) to present their company’s product, followed by an audience vote for the best solution. When the dust settled, Feathr was declared the victor.
“It’s been an incredible experience,” said Feathr co-founder and CEO Aleksander Levental. “We were excited just to be here.”
“This is great validation for Feathr and an indication of where the industry is heading,” added fellow co-founder Aidan Augustin. Feathr specializes in helping events—traditionally very focused on the in-person experience—monetize their online reach twelve months out of the year. During his presentation, Levental highlighted the fact that currently only 2% of event industry revenue comes from digital sources. “There’s a lot of money being left on the table. Feathr leverages existing but underutilized digital assets to grow events, both through increased attendance and new revenue streams.”
