Day two focuses on the compliance aspects of contractor business systems (accounting, estimating and purchasing) in today’s government contract compliance environment, and concludes with two panel discussions focused on an analysis of what contractors are seeing in the market today and issues they are facing with government contract administration, compliance and interaction with DCAA and DCMA personnel.
Upon completion of this course, attendees should be aware of current legislative and regulatory updates related to government contracting and know how to:
• Assess business systems’ compliance against DFARS criteria and other government requirements
• Document business system process and internal controls
• Remediate or correct deficiencies
• Monitor or self-assess compliance and internal control effectiveness
• Demonstrate overall business system adequacy and compliance, and
• Understand what to expect for any upcoming US Government Audits
