Felix & Paul Studios Wins EMMY® Award for Virtual Reality Experience “The People’s House - Inside the White House with Barack and Michelle Obama”
Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) September 12, 2017 -- The 22-minute virtual reality experience, produced in conjunction with Facebook and Oculus, was filmed over the course of five days in November and December 2016. Felix & Paul Studios previously won an EMMY award for Inside the Box of Kurios, a collaboration with Cirque du Soleil Media.

"The People’s House" takes viewers on an unprecedented exploration of the White House, with the President and First Lady as guides. Through an intimate, immersive visit, the viewer is given extraordinary access to explore the profound history of the White House that includes eight years of the Obama Administration and the defining events over the last two centuries. From sitting with the President in the Oval Office, to exploring the Situation Room, and experiencing a special moment with the First Lady in the Old Family Dining Room, "The People’s House” offers personal memories and insights from the President and First Lady as they prepare to leave the place they have called home for close to a decade.

Felix & Paul Studios currently has over 35 virtual reality experiences under development and will be announcing their next VR projects at Oculus Connect 4 and Google’s upcoming hardware event—both taking place in October, 2017.
"The People’s House – Inside the White House with Barack and Michelle Obama" is available on the Oculus Rift, on the Samsung Gear VR, powered by Oculus, and on Facebook 360 and YouTube 360. Headspace Studio led the sound design and 3D positional audio production for the award-winning VR experience.
