Pitch judges are top players in their fields, and come from companies like Walmart Labs, Autodesk, Gap, Inc., Silicon Valley Bank, RocketSpace, and more.
Since 2012, the percentage of women-led venture-backed companies has plateaued at 17 percent, with a zero percent growth in the last five years.
AMPLIFY Women’s Pitch Competition exists to highlight this problem in venture capital funding. It seeks to empower women founders with the entrepreneurial opportunities they need to level the playing field in technology, build innovative solutions to the world’s toughest problems and create jobs now.
During the competition, the 10 finalist women entrepreneurs will each have 10 minutes to pitch their startup on stage to a panel of seasoned tech industry professionals and investors. They will be judged based on the innovativeness and viability of the product or service.
“Creating opportunities for women entrepreneurs is mission critical for us right now” said Adriana Gascoigne, CEO and Founder of Girls in Tech. “In order for women to have hope for equality and equity, our industry must ensure women have the same funding and pitch opportunities as men.”
AMPLIFY also features inspiring keynote speeches and a panel of judges comprised of some of the most successful women entrepreneurs, leaders in the tech industry, and allies of the women in tech movement.

Dheeraj Pandey, CEO & Chairman of Nutanix
