Fibernet Participates in Sub for Santa and Food Drive
Orem, UT (PRWEB) January 22, 2015 -- Fibernet, leading colocation and data center service provider, concluded the 2014 year by participating in United Way of Utah County’s Sub for Santa program as well as in a food drive for the Utah County division of Community Action Services. Through the months of November and December, Fibernet employees were invited to purchase gifts for a local sponsored family as well as bring in food and hygiene items to donate to the food bank.
"As a local company, we take great interest in any opportunity to contribute to the community," stated Fibernet CEO Lane Livingston. "This season, we combined our second annual Light Show with our food drive, opening it up to the public to bring their donations to exchange for tickets to an iPad raffle. We were so pleased with how well received the event was with the local community and look forward to doing again next year."
Fibernet, with the help of the community, succeeded and collecting over 800 pounds of food. For more information on how to contribute to the community visit the United Way and Community Action Services websites.
