FiduciaryFirst Participates in a Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Fundraiser
Maitland, FL (PRWEB) June 12, 2015 -- Ten years ago, Lauren Fernandez lost her best friend and mother, Kyle, to a type of Lymphoma (Leukemia) that could be close to a cure today, thanks to the efforts of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). LLS has developed a funding campaign that delivers over 77% of each dollar raised directly to cutting edge, life-saving research for blood borne cancers. Most of this success is attributed to their Therapy Acceleration Program, where LLS funds research and clinical trials, and focuses on bench to bedside.
FiduciaryFirst is contributing heavily to this campaign, and Ms. Fernandez is asking for help from individuals, a minimum of $500.00, or organizations, a minimum $5,000, to make a contribution commitment now. Ms. Fernandez is trying to raise $500,000 in one week. The LLS has given Lauren a small amount of time to raise these funds and a 10-1 matching campaign. This contribution does not need to be in the form of one payment, but a commitment to fund a certain amount over the course of a determined time.
