Field and Floor FX Appoints Carol Bieler as Assistant Director
Gettysburg, PA (PRWEB) March 29, 2014 -- Field and Floor FX today announced that Carol Bieler has been named Assistant Director. A talented color guard instructor with deep experience in drum corps and indoor guard, Bieler will be responsible for assisting with the management of client relationships and production of digital flags, backdrops, scrims and floor tarps. She reports to Field and Floor FX Director Doug Gardner.
Prior to Field and Floor FX, Bieler spent 26 years working in the medical field. She most recently served as an authorization coordinator for Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, Pa. A native of Erie, Pa., Bieler possesses more than 30 years of experience as a color guard designer and instructor and currently is a color guard director at Red Land High School in Lewisberry, Pa. She is also the current president of the Keystone Indoor Drill Association (KIDA), a competitive, educational, indoor circuit for percussion, color guard, majorettes and dance ensembles in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
“Carol has a terrific track record in organizational management, plus she possesses the perfect background as we continue to expand what we do with our digital flags, backdrops and digital floors,” Gardner said. “She’ll be an important asset as we strategize show concepts with our clients that will give them the look that will set them apart from their competition.”
“I’m happy that Carol has brought her rich expertise in this industry to the Field and Floor FX team,” said Greg Allen, CEO of Graphcom and general manager of Signs by Graphcom. “In such a competitive industry, we’re constantly seeking new ideas and materials that will give performance ensembles, drum corps, color guards and marching bands a visually dynamic appearance that matches the caliber of their performance skills.”
“I first met Doug in 1986 when we performed in a drum corps together,” Bieler said. “Since third grade, I fell in love with the activity. This has been my passion, and it is rewarding to see that passion come full circle with Field and Floor FX.”
