Field & Floor FX Flags Featured in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Gettysburg, PA (PRWEB) November 19, 2014 -- Field & Floor FX, a digital printer of flags, backdrops, scrim and floor tarps for drum corps, marching bands, indoor guards and percussion, will provide high-quality digital flags for the Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps’ performance during the 88th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The parade will be held in New York City on Thursday, Nov. 27 before more than 3 million live spectators. NBC will air the parade live at 9 a.m. ET before 50 million TV viewers.

The corps will perform as the “Madison Scouts—Corps of Brothers,” a special 426-member unit of both current corps and alumni members. The corps will perform “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town” along the 3-mile parade route, followed by “Happy Christmas” for the special televised presentation. A holiday version of Pharrell’s highly popular tune “Happy,” “Happy Christmas” will be the final performing musical unit in the parade—the coveted position introducing Santa Claus for the parade’s conclusion.
