Fifteen New York Performing Provider Systems Select Performance Logic PPM to Support Their DSRIP Initiatives

(PL), a leader in healthcare-focused project management solutions, today announced that 15 of 25 New York Performing Provider Systems (PPS) have selected Performance Logic PPM (PL PPM), a cloud-based project and portfolio management application, to help manage their Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) programs. Collectively, the PPS’s will be leveraging PL PPM as well as its custom module—Performance Logic’s DSRIP Tracker™—to collaborate with as many as 50,000 healthcare providers, hospitals, and community and health organizations across New York State to better address the healthcare needs of over 2.1 million residents.
According to the New York State Department of Health, the DSRIP program will restructure the healthcare delivery system by reinvesting in the Medicaid program, with the primary goal of reducing avoidable hospital use by 25% during the next five years. Up to $7.3 billion is allocated to the program, with payouts based on achieving predefined results in system transformation, clinical management, and population health. A similar program is in place for several states, including Texas, California, and New Jersey.
