Fifth Annual Copenhagen Human Rights Walk
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 24, 2014 -- Copenhagen youth joined in the city’s fifth annual Walk for Human Rights in December to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Beginning in the center of Copenhagen at Vesterbro Torv, youth marched to the StreetMekka indoor sports complex where they gathered for a human rights rally and musical festival.
Those attending the event traced their hands and wrote personal human rights messages on a large mural to affirm their commitment to making human rights a fact.
Scientologists on five continents engage in collaborative efforts with government agencies and nongovernmental organizations to bring about broad-scale awareness and implementation of the 1948 United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the world’s premier human rights document.
