Finance World Champion Alex Gordon to Defend Title at ModelOff in New York

Gordon, 25, who works for leading professional services firm PwC in the Corporate Finance Division in New Zealand, will receive automatic entry to the Top 16 World Finals held on 7th / 8th December 2013 in New York City, USA. In 2012, Gordon overcame over 2,000 Finance professionals and students from over 100 countries worldwide to become the inaugural Financial Modeling World Champion and receive $25,000 Cash First Prize.
“It’s an amazing honour – I think there will be some extremely strong new competition this year. The finalists last year were extremely fast and clearly at the top of their game but I’m sure it will only get harder. The experience last year was fantastic both professionally and personally.” Gordon has completed all examinations for the prestigious CFA Charterholder qualification, and will soon complete his professional work experience requirements.
