Financial Advisor Pat Vitucci Discusses Three Dangers Facing Boomers
Walnut Creek, CA (PRWEB) February 22, 2015 -- Pat Vitucci, a Bay Area Independent Financial Advisor, suggests that there are three main financial dangers facing boomers today.
"The first danger is that people are simply living much longer than in years past," said Vitucci.
"It's no longer retire at age 65...go on a cruise at 66 and die at 67. So if people live into their 90s or even 100, will their 401K or other retirement investments last a lifetime?"
"Secondly, an inheritance from parents isn't as common because parents are living much longer as well and they will need the money. They earned it."
"And finally, of course, the big elephant in the room is healthcare. Those costs can cripple a retirement plan in a hurry, so boomers should have some sort of a plan for that," continued Vitucci.
