Chicago, IL (PRWEB) August 30, 2013 -- Finch's Beer Company will begin full batch production of its barrel aged beer program in September. This program will utilize full 30 barrel batches of Finch's Pig in the Wood, a barrel aged version of the mainstay Fascist Pig Ale, and Stache in the Wood, a barrel aged version of the popular Secret Stache Stout. These specialty beers will be available in April and May of 2014 and will be distributed in several states for the first time.
Finch's has released several small batch versions dating back to its Dirtier Bird, a barrel aged version of the draft-only Dirty Bird Doppelbock offered in 2011. This barrel aged specialty won a gold medal at the Festival of Barrel Aged Beers (FOBAB) in Chicago.
Finch's has plans to release a complete line-up of barrel aged beers and will regularly feature barrels in their new 12,000 square foot Chicago warehouse.
