Find and Keep More Customers Using Batchbook’s Integration for Intuit’s QuickBooks Online
Providence, RI (PRWEB) July 29, 2013 -- Batchbook, the CRM for small business, has announced a brand new integration with Intuits’s QuickBooks Online which makes it simple to track all of the things happening with a customer, not just the invoicing. The integration is available in the Intuit App Center, the premier location for small businesses to try and buy apps that help them save time and money.
To be successful, small businesses must take a long term approach to customer relationships. Starting before the sale, Batchbook allows businesses to track where a customer heard about them, the pre-sale promises and any special interests of the customer.
“The Intuit Partner Platform welcomes Batchbook, which will help small businesses keep their finger to the pulse of customer activities,” said Alex Chriss, director of the Intuit Partner Platform. “We are excited that Batchbook has leveraged our platform to create a rich application that will delight our QuickBooks Online users by helping them save time managing their customer relationships.”
When the person decides to buy, it is easy for the sales team to send that customer straight over to QuickBooks with one click of the button, no double entry of data. And by adding financial data from QuickBooks, businesses can continue to see where that customer is in their payment status, if the team is following up on a regular basis and if the customer is bringing in new business.
“We wanted to make sure that there were no roadblocks between the sales and service teams building a great relationship in Batchbook, and the financial team making sure the bills get paid,” says Batchbook CEO Pamela O’Hara.
This integration creates a gateway for contact data to flow between the CRM software and the accounting software. When a customer needs to be billed, Batchbook users can push a button to send the contact details over to QuickBooks Online. They can also assign a task for the bookkeeper to go ahead and send the invoice.
After the invoice is created in QuickBooks, any Batchbook user can see if it is still open or overdue. This helps the sales team to stay on top of their customers. Often times, a gentle reminder from a sales rep that a bill is due is better than a form letter about an overdue invoice.
Users can also import all of their current QuickBooks Online contacts into Batchbook, where they can build out active customer profiles, record important communications, see recent social updates, and collaborate as a team to provide exceptional customer service.
Thanks to a special QuickBooks Online dashboard widget, Batchbook users can also stay up to date using lists to view customers who they haven’t communicated with recently, customers who are marked as Champions, or any custom created list a small business finds useful.
This integration is free to any Batchbook and QuickBooks Online users and set it up only takes a few clicks of the mouse.
