First Capital Cashflow Giving Back to the Community
(PRWEB UK) 23 July 2013 -- The Bureau already holds a relationship with the Vikings as it has processed membership direct debit collections on behalf of the club for the past two seasons. The membership scheme the club runs has helped build a loyal fan base as they look to maintain their position in the super league.
The Community Sponsorship package saw First Capital Cashflow give local school, Windmill Hill, the opportunity to bring along 30 pupils to the game. The children had a fantastic match day experience with one of the lucky children presented with a signed ball courtesy of First Capital Cashflow.
First Capital Cashflow work with a range of professional sports clubs to help them collect membership fees and season ticket fees on a monthly basis by direct debit. This outsourced service often proves more cost effective, secure and administratively efficient than clubs trying to manage processing in-house.
First Capital Cashflow has also developed the Sports Club Subs service which is now an established product amongst amateur and grassroots clubs throughout the UK, helping them ensure all revenues are collected automatically via direct debit to encourage club sustainability in the grassroots of sports.
Michelle Holmes, Head of commercial at Widnes Vikings, commented: "First Capital Cashflow have been a Community Sponsor of the Widnes Vikings for the last couple of years now, and we were delighted to welcome both themselves and their guests, alongside a number of local school children from the area, to the game against London. Those involved clearly enjoyed their experience, getting to meet staff, Kemik the Viking, and see the match itself from an alternative viewpoint. This level of appreciation was proven by the number of beaming smiles etched on the faces of the youngsters throughout the evening, and we once again express our gratitude towards First Capital Cashflow for making the day's events possible. We would strongly recommend this avenue to other local businesses in both the remainder of 2013 and looking ahead to the 2014 season, as it really is a win, win situation for the Community sponsor itself, as well as a vast number of local youngsters, who will also reap the benefits. It’s also worth mentioning how great First Capital Cashflow’s direct debit processing and management service has been in helping us grow our membership base and manage our club more efficiently."
Simon Reynolds of First Capital Cashflow added: “Being community sponsor for the Widnes Vikings gave us the opportunity to give something back to the local community. We also used the game as a platform to raise awareness of our services in both the professional and grassroots level of sports. Our Sports Club Subs service in particular has proved very beneficial for the amateur scene and we have some exciting promotions on the horizon to push this out to more clubs throughout the UK.”
