First Choice Loan Services Wins Two 2016 Ellie Mae Awards
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ (PRWEB) March 10, 2016 -- New Jersey-based residential mortgage lender First Choice Loan Services Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of First Choice Bank, today announced that it was presented two awards at the Ellie Mae Experience 2016, held at the Wynn Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada, on March 2, 2016.
The first honor received was Ellie Mae’s Exceptional Achievement in Compliance Automation award. Presented by NBA legend, two-time Hall of Famer and entrepreneur Earvin “Magic” Johnson, this award recognizes forward-thinking companies that have leveraged business rules, alerts, and the Encompass Compliance Service to fully integrate compliance into their origination process, thereby minimizing the chance of compliance-related issues.
The second win came through our participation in Ellie Mae’s Idea Center Shark Tank session. During this presentation, Senior Vice President of Operations/Business Solutions Terry Chung and Senior Vice President of Compliance Joshua Weinberg shared information on Assisted Automated HMDA Compliance. As the winning idea, our concept will be added to the Encompass Roadmap and should help all of Ellie Mae’s customers improve their accuracy and gain efficiencies in one of the most important and difficult areas of mortgage lending compliance.
First Choice Loan Services also was awarded $1,000 for winning Ellie Mae’s Idea Center Shark Tank. The mortgage company decided to donate this amount to benefit Autism Speaks, the world's leading autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. Ellie Mae, in turn, is providing a matching donation.
