First Inter American Regenerative and Cellular Medicine Conference Kicks Off New ‘Scientific Collaboration’ Between U.S. and Cuba
Miami, Florida (PRWEB) October 24, 2016 -- Last week, President Barack Obama took executive action to expand the opportunities for scientific collaboration and medical research between companies and individuals from the United States and Cuba. These changes in policy were part of a broader series of moves designed to increase the means for Americans and Cubans to work together in business, education, travel and medicine.
At the very same time the president was taking this action, an American company was taking the first steps to initiate this sort of scientific collaboration with the Cuban medical community. The First Inter American Regenerative and Cellular Medicine Conference was held October 13-15, in Havana. The event was attended by 180 physicians and other medical professionals from 14 different countries.
