First Look: Maggie McClure And Shane Henry’s “Happiest Of Holidays” Music Video
LOS ANGELES, CA (PRWEB) December 10, 2015 -- Watch Maggie McClure and Shane Henry’s brand new music video for “Happiest of Holidays,” the upbeat, original and festive title track from their brand new EP. The video is a tribute to holiday film favorite Home Alone, which celebrates its 25th Anniversary this year, and was directed by Tim Cruz.
Being great lovers of Christmas, and giving voice to their desire to add to the American Christmas songbook, Maggie McClure and Shane Henry have released Happiest of Holidays, a festive five-song EP comprised of four original holiday songs and a cover performance of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” just in time for the Christmas season. The duo will perform songs from Happiest of Holidays at The Hotel Café in Los Angeles on Dec. 11, the KCAL9/CBS Sunday Morning Show on Dec. 13, the New York Knicks Holiday Halftime Show on Dec. 21 at Madison Square Garden, and at NYC’s Rockwood Music Hall on Dec. 22. They recently opened the Holiday Festival of Light in Oklahoma, designated as one of the top ten light displays in the nation.
The EP’s five tracks blend Maggie’s clear sweet tone and beautiful piano with Shane’s soulful voice and powerful guitars to deliver a warm and life-affirming Christmas message complete with sleigh bells and cascading harmonies. The title track “Happiest of Holidays” brings upbeat holiday cheer alongside festive originals “First Thing On My Christmas List” and “Kiss for Christmas.” The soulful ballad “When I’m Home” is destined to become a Christmas classic.
Maggie McClure’s original music has been featured in over 25 film and television projects on ABC Family, CBS, TBS, 20th Century Fox, where her smooth, confessional songwriting has made a lasting impression. Maggie has performed more than 1,000 shows throughout her 10-year career in over 40 states including opening slots for Sara Bareilles, Alicia Witt, Walk Off The Earth, Tony Lucca, and others. She recently appeared on ABC sitcom "The Middle" and her voice has appeared on multiple Disney projects including voicing the English-dubbed singing parts for the latin-based teen drama Violeta. Maggie’s third and latest album Time Moves On was produced by Justin Glasco (Dan Wilson, Gary Jules, Tyler Hilton, The Lone Bellow).
Singer/songwriter/guitarist Shane Henry has opened for legendary acts including B.B. King, Etta James, Jonny Lang, The Neville Brothers, and Edwin McCain. Many of Shane’s songs have been featured on hit television shows including "The Young and The Restless" (CBS). Shane is currently finishing his forthcoming solo album Light in the Dark, produced by David Ryan Harris (India Arie, John Mayer, Guy Sebastian) and Justin Glasco, set to release in spring 2016.
