The idea of the product was first developed as King’s senior final marketing project. King states, “During the beginning stages of being a mother it was very tough constantly being on the go with my baby and when it was time to feed my daughter prepping a baby's bottle was very time consuming. I had to make sure the contents were mixed properly and the right temperature so she does not become gassy or colicky. Stopping to get hot water, mixing her bottle then waiting for the temperature to be right for feeding was very time consuming."
The FeebMEE Baby Bottle Mixer and Heater won the Gold Merit Award at the INPEX International Inventors Trade Show in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania based on the concept and display of the accessory without having the prototype. Global Industry Analysts expect the global baby food and infant formula market to hit almost $24 billion by the end of 2015. The baby formula industry generates retail revenue of nearly $7 billion annually shows that this market is growing and looking for a new innovative solution such as the FeebMEE Baby Bottle Mixer and Heater accessory.
