The Woman Vetrepreneur of the Year® award honors veterans who have utilized their military experience and training to establish successful entrepreneurial pursuits ranging from small businesses to large, multimillion-dollar operations.
TAPE, headquartered in Alexandria, Va., is a $25 million company with 200 employees. Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2013, the company employs 55 veterans, which is about 30 percent of its entire employee population. In addition, she also held the position of media spokesperson for the Army Senior Leadership and as a reservist. She eventually gained over 30 years of experience in business ownership and management, public relations, marketing and information technology.
