Firstlab Welcomes Katie Stuart as General Manager of Recovery Management Services (RMS)
Chalfont, PA (PRWEB) February 02, 2015 -- Firstlab appoints Katie Stuart as General Manager of Recovery Management Services (RMS). With 5 years in the Substance Use Disorder industry as a leader and innovator, Ms. Stuart brings her broad base of knowledge to provide consultation and assistance to all of their recovery management clients.
Ms. Stuart served as Compliance Monitor/Outreach Coordinator at Southworth Associates, a premier provider of addiction Intervention and Recovery programs. Ms. Stuart coordinated the implementation, compliance, and enforcement of drug and alcohol testing policies and procedures for the Physician Recovery Network, the Program for Recovering Nurses, the Program for Recovering Dental Professionals, and the Pharmacist Recovery Network. She has worked side by side with John Southworth on the training and education of Idaho State University Pharmacy & Residency Students and various hospital Wellness Committees. While at Southworth Associates, she started the First Responder Recovery Network, working with both Boise Police Department and Code 4 Northwest to get first responders into treatment and under a monitoring program so that they could return to work. She is dedicated to providing support and accountability to those who are recovering from substance use disorders.
