FirstService Residential Hosts Training Session Focused on Developing Leaders
Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) May 26, 2016 -- FirstService Residential, the leading HOA management company in Nevada, hosted a training session focused on transforming volunteerism to leadership for homeowners’ association board members on May 19, 2016. Maurice Talley, corporate trainer for FirstService Residential in Nevada, provided the attendees with the tools and guidance to take their volunteer roles to the next level.
Homeowners volunteer their time to serve on their HOA board and work to achieve their communities’ visions. Talley presented the “Four Quadrants of Leadership” to highlight the different levels of leadership needed to serve an HOA board. Each quadrant details the various personality traits and leadership skills one must hold to fit at that level. In addition, the attendees were provided self-assessment tools to see where they currently stand as leaders, and were given a detailed explanation of each of the 10 essential traits of community leaders and high-functioning HOA boards.
