FirstService Residential Named Finalist for Minnesota Business Ethics Award
Minneapolis, Minnesota (PRWEB) April 28, 2016 -- FirstService Residential, the Twin Cities’ leading property management company, was named a finalist for the 2016 Minnesota Business Ethics Awards (MBEA) in the mid-size company category. The MBEA recognizes businesses that have exemplified and promoted ethical conduct for the benefit of the workplace, community, environment and marketplace. To be considered, a business must be nominated by a customer, client, employee, vendor or a private citizen who has been impressed by a company’s demonstration of ethical business conduct. The FirstService Residential nomination was provided by a Committee Member at one of the condominium communities the company manages.
Entries are presented in three categories: large companies with over 500 employees, medium size companies of 100-500 employees and small companies of under 100 employees. The MBEA evaluated nominations based upon these criteria: What you say you stand for, how you do what you say you stand for and how well you do what you say you stand for.
Volunteer judging panels are comprised of experienced business practitioners and business ethicists from Minnesota colleges and universities and often include at least one representative from a company which has previously been awarded the MBEA. Panel members share a common goal of raising the standards for ethical business practice in Minnesota.
“It’s a great honor to be nominated for this award. For the past four decades, we have maintained an unwavering commitment to integrity, open communication and delivering a higher standard of service. This is how we differentiate ourselves in our market and how we make a difference, every day, for the residents in the communities we serve,” said FirstService Residential President Mark Gittleman.
The awards will be presented on May 11, 2016 at a luncheon at Nicollet Pavilion.
