FISH GRABBER Eases Fish Retrieval for Ice-Fishers - Designed by InventHelp Client (HTM-3301)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 27, 2016 -- Ice-fishing people use light tackle and line. Lifting a small fish from the hole is no problem, but larger fish often require one to get down on his or her hands and knees. This can be strenuous and painful. "I know, because last year I had hip surgery," said an inventor from Rockford, Iowa, "so I needed to create something that aids in lifting fish from holes in ice."
He then created a prototype of the patent-pending FISH GRABBER, a device that enables an ice-fisher to retrieve a fish from a hole in an easier, more ergonomic manner. It eliminates the need to get down on the hands and knees, which avoids strain and pain. Also, it doesn't inflict undue pain on the fish, and it eliminates chance of injury is the hook pops free when reaching for the fish. As a result, it promotes enjoyment and fishing success.
"Another important selling point is safety," the inventor said. "When in position to grab a fish with your hand, your face is directly or close to directly over the hole. If the hook pops free, it can hit your face, hand, arm or upper body. (I have had this happen to me). With this tool, this danger is avoided. This is part of the reason I call it the 'Eye Saver.' I originally designed it to use for walleyes. Many fishing enthusiasts call them 'eyes.' The name 'Eye Saver' comes from its ability to save walleyes (although it can be used for other fish) and the potential to save a fishing enthusiast from getting a hook in the eye."
The original design was submitted to the Houston office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
