Fisher Investments Named a Top Workplace by The Oregonian
(PRWEB) October 03, 2017 -- Fisher Investments is pleased to announce it has been named a Top Workplace in Oregon and southwestern Washington by The Oregonian. The newspaper also recognized Fisher Investments for offering its employees the best benefits of any company in the region.
The Oregonian was supported by independent research firm WorkplaceDynamics in the selection process, which relied exclusively on employee survey results. Over 27,000 employees in the region submitted feedback on topics including their employers’ values, leadership, organizational effectiveness, employee appreciation and opportunities for growth, as well as pay and benefits. Fisher Investments was previously recognized as one of the “Best Places to Launch a Career” by BusinessWeek magazine.
Lane Jarvis, Executive Vice President of Global Human Capital at Fisher Investments, commented, “We are honored to be named one of The Oregonian’s Top Workplaces in Oregon and southwest Washington. This recognition reflects our commitment from the top down to making Fisher Investments the best possible place to come to work, day in and day out. Our success as a firm is 100% dependent on our employees and we are particularly happy this award was based on their positive feedback. Having a fully-engaged workforce that is confident in the direction of our business is one of our competitive advantages. It helps us provide our clients with unparalleled service and differentiates us from our competition.”
2017 marks the sixth year The Oregonian and WorkplaceDynamics have conducted the Top Workplaces survey. The nomination process is open to any employer with at least 35 people on its payroll in Oregon or in Clark, Cowlitz, or Skamania counties in Washington. WorkplaceDynamics, which conducts Top Workplaces surveys for more than 45 major metropolitan news organizations, polled more than 2.8 million employees at nearly 7,000 organizations in 2016.
