Fit Body Boot Camp Hudson Valley Fitness Boot Camp Launches Breast Cancer Fundraising Events
Hudson Valley, NY (PRWEB) October 17, 2014 -- October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Hudson Valley Fit Body Boot Camp, a fitness boot camp located in New Windsor, has launched a variety of events and fundraising efforts to raise awareness, celebrate survival and help raise needed research funds.
The fundraising events started with a 14-Day Fat Furnace Program offered at 50% off the normal fitness boot camp rates and with all proceeds going to women in the Hudson Valley community who are fighting breast cancer. Donations are going through the Fit Body Boot Camp Cares Fund and local breast cancer organizations. Owner Alex Panet is happy to announce that the 14-Day Fat Furnace Program quickly sold out.
Panet and Hudson Valley Fit Body Boot Camp are also inviting the community to come take part in a special “Boot Camp for Boobs – Stronger Than Cancer” event on Saturday, October 25th from 8:30am to noon. The event will take place at the boot camp’s facility at 215 Quassaick Ave, New Windsor, New York.
“We have three special, 45-minute workouts available that combine high-intensity interval cardio and weight training and everything can be scaled down on an individual basis to meet each participant’s needs,” says Panet. “The workouts start at 8:30, 9:30 and 10:30.”
These workouts are available for a $20 donation and tickets can be purchased by going to https://www.eventbrite.com/e/boot-camp-for-boobs-stronger-than-cancer-tickets-13140045229.
100% of the proceeds go to fund breast cancer research and tickets are selling very quickly.
“Almost everyone knows someone who is dealing or has dealt with breast cancer,” says Panet. “The Hudson Valley community has been really generous in taking part and helping us to donate much-needed funds to support local women with breast cancer.”
Hudson Valley Fit Body Boot Camp has also created and made for sale T-shirts and hoodies with the “Boot Camp for Boobs – Stronger than Cancer” designs. These are available by visiting their Facebook page and are available to anyone in the community. Again, 100% of the proceeds benefit breast cancer research.
“Buying the shirts and hoodies is a great way to show your support for women with breast cancer, to help raise funds for research and also make a great gift for a wonderful woman who is fighting the good fight. Wearing the t-shirts and hoodies also reminds others to do what they can to help during Breast Cancer Awareness month,” says Panet.
Panet invites anyone interested in more information or picking up a t-shirt to stop by the fitness boot camp in person and say “hello.”
