FitFarms Opens Autumn 2013 Holistic Courses as Alternative to Fitness Boot Camps
(PRWEB UK) 18 August 2013 -- FitFarms has been in the business of moulding its clients into proper shape and helping people adopt healthier, more active lifestyles since its inception in 2006, making it one of the UK’s leading weight loss retreats. As early as now, the interested public is invited to sign-up for FitFarms’ late September until December courses to experience the weight loss retreat’s offerings as a leader in the health-and-fitness industry firsthand.
One reason for FitFarms’ consistent position as a top holiday retreat for health-conscious people is that FitFarms tends to reinvent and improve its programmes based on the requirements of its clientele. This is exactly what FitFarms did, just as recently as earlier this year, by changing its exercise schedule to concentrate on building leaner muscles to invite better weight loss results.
Along with the upgrade on the exercises, FitFarms has also updated the menu to feature healthier but still tasty dishes which emphasize controlling one’s blood sugar levels and portion size. These dishes are not just served to FitFarms visitors but are also part of the lessons in the retreat’s health and nutrition-based cookery workshop.
These improvements on the programme gives FitFarms an advantage over military training-styled fitness camps, because it allows the fitness retreat’s guests to reap the benefits of the regimen for a longer period of time, instead of just for the duration of the camp. Weight loss boot camps have had success because the high-impact activities featured in these camps do help clients lose weight quickly. However, FitFarms is devoted to taking a more holistic approach that covers health, fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle changes. It is the fitness retreat’s thrust to create and develop fitness and weight loss lessons that its clientele can adapt into their regular lives well after they have left FitFarms.
For the coming autumn, FitFarms has already posted a schedule of various mixed and women-only fitness and weight loss courses for the three FitFarms locations, starting from the end of September 2013 until mid to late December 2013. Bookings done early may be eligible for £100 off their course price or a 20% discount. Guests are billeted in luxury accommodations and will be able to use large indoor training spaces, outdoor exercise areas (weather-permitting) and swimming pools.
Each guest who signs up for any programme at FitFarms will also have access to a detailed aftercare programme which continues lifestyle therapy, exercise and nutrition mentoring; an online life coach; a monthly recipe newsletter from the FitFarms Health Team’s resident nutritionist, Julia Fitzgerald; and a 24HR helpline.
Those interested in joining a fitness retreat for this year are invited to sign up for the autumn season courses especially as FitFarms’ programmes are developed with long-term fitness and weight control in mind, in time for the yuletide feasts. FitFarms is also generally fully-booked after the Christmas and New Year festivities.
