Utilizing Apple’s HealthKit API, Fitnet 2.0 was included in Apps in Health as well as Great Apps for iOS 8. Debuting in conjunction with the rollout of Apple iOS 8 two weeks ago, Fitnet 2.0 is a pioneer of Apple’s HealthKit API, giving clients the ability to manage their health and fitness data in a central place, leading to enhanced wellness, health and fitness goal achievement.

Fitnet’s 2.0 delivers a more comprehensive and fun workout experience with the following updates:
- Fitness Tracker: When worn, the iPhone accelerometer is used to score fitness instead of the camera. This feature is also Apple Watch ready for enhanced fitness analytics.
- Trainer: Clients can invite fitness trainers or enlist a Fitnet certified fitness pro to manage their fitness plan, help them to set goals and provide weekly encouragement in the app.
- Explore functionality: This allows clients to navigate the hundreds of strength, cardio and mind body exercises for instant or scheduled exercise.
- Seven-day workout planner and goal: Seven-day plan is a recurring series of workouts set on Sunday-Saturday, which can be managed by individually or by a remote trainer, and includes a weekly exercise goal.
