LAS VEGAS (PRWEB) December 29, 2014 -- Fitnet®, the top-rated comprehensive mobile fitness solution, will launch the Fitnet Script™ application during the 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas next week. The first-ever, trainer-only application allows certified fitness professionals to quickly and easily upload custom five-minute workout videos onto Fitnet, the client-facing application, which utilizes a combination of biometric sensors, fitness trackers, professional fitness coaching and seven-day workout scheduler to help users reach their individual health and fitness goals.
Fitnet Script is transforming the home fitness industry – a market that has not seen disruption since the invention of Jane Fonda workouts on VHS in the early 1980s. Since the advent of at-home workout classes, consumers have only been able to watch TV fitness videos or do self-initiated routines. Fitnet’s new revenue-share program allows fitness professionals to not only create their own Fitnet profile and easily produce a custom five-minute workout video series, but they also have the ability to track and schedule client workouts, monitor progress and motivate consumers through the custom messaging system within the application. Clients now get all the benefits of one-to-one trainer interaction, high-quality video workouts and high-tech analytics…all from their home, office or hotel room.
Until Fitnet Script, fitness trainers and health coaches have been limited to the number of clients that their bodies and schedules will allow for. This new, free application allows trainers to scale their businesses by reaching new clients from around the world and engaging their existing client base via mobile. According to the IDEA Health and Fitness Association, fitness trainers in the US work an average of 18 hours per week. With Fitnet, these fitness professionals can double their income by increasing engagement with existing clients and adding new ones.
“The ability to quickly and easily upload custom video content and have real-time access to clients’ daily physical activities, workout schedules, goals and scores - even when we’re not present for their workout - enables us to build closer, more intimate and better integrated fitness plans for each client,” said Laurie Maddox, certified fitness professional and founding Fitnet trainer. “Furthermore, it gives trainers and health coaches the opportunity to expand our businesses across the globe, instead of solely in one city or region.
“The addition of the Script application gives Fitnet a level of customization unlike any other fitness application currently on the market,” said Bob Summers, founder and chief geek of Fitnet. “There is no other platform which combines video, computer vision and biometric sensing into one package for health.”
While the Fitnet application itself is free of charge and offers over 250 unique workouts, clients can upgrade to a Fitnet personal trainer starting at $19 per month, a price well below the industry average of $55 per hour.
“I was using another product for my fitness needs, however, I wanted something that would adapt to my changing skill level as I worked hard toward my personal fitness goals,” said Fitnet user, AnthroGirl93. “This app is great! It monitors your workouts with biometric sensors, and is easily customizable in order to help you reach your personal workout goals.”
Fitnet’s fitness geeks will be available during CES in CES Tech West at booth 74734 for test runs of the Script application, demonstrations of Fitnet 2.2 and five-minute fitness on the hour, every hour courtesy of Fitnet Fitness Trainers. Fitnet is free to download on iTunes or Google Play. More information on the Fitnet Script Application and trainer portal can be found on Fit.net/trainer.
