Washington, DC (PRWEB) September 25, 2014 -- They may not be footing the bill, but kids are growing in importance in the luxury hotel industry. Children’s clubs, activities, menus, and babysitting are standard at most family-friendly resorts. But some luxury hotels are going above and beyond for smaller guests. Five Star Alliance has rounded up the top 5 trends.
1-Children’s Concierges.
The Rubens at the Palace and The Goring Hotel, both in London, have full-time children’s concierges, who are experts at planning stays for kids. Omni Parker House has a Teen Concierge, as does Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay. Hyatt Resorts has a nationwide kid’s concierge program, featuring kid friendly activities that spotlight regional culture and traditions. Boca Beach Club even has a kite concierge.

At Grand Wailea - A Waldorf Astoria Hotel, kids can sample 25-minute versions of signature treatments and at The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun, teens ages 13 to 17 can relax at the Kayanta Spa.
4-Bed, Bath, and Beyond Time.
Trump SoHo gives kids enrolled in the Young Entrepreneurs program personalized business cards, stationery, and a child-size robe. At The Benjamin, there’s a pillow menu for the whole family, a stuffed owl to snuggle, and a lending library of bedtime favorites. Trump International Beach Resort holds a star-filled Saturday Night Pajama Party every week. Four Seasons Hotel Chicago has a Bedtime Stories Butler, and Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas offers a bathrobe and bedtime milk and cookies. Substitute pets are also popular.
