FL. Superior Small Lodging Association Hosts Annual Conference with Record Results
Dania Beach, Florida (PRWEB) October 23, 2014 -- The Florida Superior Small Lodging Association, Florida’s lodging option to big, hi-rise hotels, held its annual conference last week at the Broward County Convention Center. The conference was hosted by the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau with the direct support of Kim Butler, Vice President, Marketing Communications and Kim Canter, Marketing Communications Manager. Carlos Molinet, the GFLCVB’s dynamic Senior Vice President, inspired a group of hospitality students from South Broward High School who had volunteered at the conference. “Each and every year I am excited to witness the GFCVB innovate and lead Broward’s tourism market to where we are today," said Scott Rivelli, Executive Director of SSLA. “The conference was a huge success that wouldn’t have been possible without the CVB’s support.”

In addition, the Donal L. Dermody White Glove award for housekeeping excellence was awarded to 117 members. These properties received a perfect 100% score on the housekeeping part of the annual inspection conducted by the Property Review Program, an independent hospitality industry inspection company.
