Flagship Planet Fitness location coming to Covington, Mandeville
New Orleans, LA (PRWEB) October 12, 2017 -- Planet Fitness, one of the largest and fastest growing franchisors and operators of fitness centers in the U.S., announced today its plans to open a flagship location in Covington, LA at 401 N. U.S. Highway 190, in January of 2018. The club will occupy the former Rooms To Go store next to Office Depot in the Holiday Square shopping center. Its location allows it to serve both Covington and Mandeville, and marks the 14th Louisiana Planet Fitness for franchisee Brandon Robinson.

The 28,000-square-foot club will feature a wide variety of equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals, arc trainers and stationary bikes—all pointed at 70-inch televisions for member entertainment while working out. Planet Fitness also offers a popular 30-minute PF Express circuit room, dedicated abs and stretching area, a full complement of user-friendly strength equipment, the new PF-360 Circuit machine and full locker rooms that include free day-use lockers, private changing rooms and tile showers.
This location will also offer a deal for new memberships starting in early December of just $1 down as an enrollment fee and dues starting at just $10 per month. The PF Black Card® membership, which is $21.99 a month, includes additional amenities such as the ability to bring a guest every day at no added charge, access to all of Planet Fitness’ more than 1,400 locations, as well as access to massage beds and chairs, and tanning, among other benefits*.
More details about the club, including a planned ribbon-cutting ceremony and background about Planet Fitness’ goal to further invest in the Covington and Mandeville communities, will be released during its grand opening.
