Flash Global Announces New Chief Technology Officer
MOUNTAIN LAKES, N.J. (PRWEB) December 07, 2015 -- Flash Global, a worldwide leader in service supply chain, announced the appointment of their newest Executive Team member, Rick Broughton, who will serve as the company’s chief technology officer.
Broughton has 25 years of experience in the IT industry, having most recently served as president and chief information officer of Lakeshore Partners, LLC. Prior to that he was VP and CIO for MKS Instruments, Inc., where he led innovative M&A strategies that accelerated growth through acquisition. His leadership in crafting groundbreaking, disruptive IT programs has continuously resulted in innovation that creates cost efficiencies and added value to customers.
At Flash Broughton will lead the charge in the development and execution of lean-forward technology strategies designed to accelerate the evolution from the contemporary 3PL model to a comprehensive service supply chain. His background in global operations, product/service development and leadership will provide a dynamic bridge between customers’ needs and the technology required to exceed them.
“Flash Global is in the midst of transforming into a finely-tuned service supply chain engine that creates sustainable benefits for our customers and employees. The next building block in our evolution is further investing in and leveraging technology that is innovative and disrupts the traditional and rudimentary 3PL supply chain thinking. We continue to find creative solutions to better service our customers, partners and employees. It’s all about scalability, visibility and, ultimately, consistency – all of which is delivered with a relentless focus on execution. With Rick joining our executive team, we are injecting another layer of expertise into how Flash thinks about technology and IT, expediting our ability to bring innovation and execution to life,” said Sam Mikles, CEO of Flash Global.
“I am excited to join a team of visionary industry experts who share a high level of passion and energy for servicing customers,” Broughton said. “Applying cutting-edge technologies to Flash Global will allow us to not only serve the current needs of the customer but allow them to achieve their goals as they grow in the future.”
Flash is intent on deepening the company’s bench strength when it comes to IT and technology. As part of this effort, previous CIO Dennis Moniz will be taking on a new role as SVP of IT business integration. Moniz will lead several key initiatives and be responsible for bridging the gap between IT, customers, operations and other services provided by Flash to ensure an expeditious approach to customer service and ultimate execution.
“Dennis’s unwavering commitment and leadership has helped Flash grow in ways we never imagined. We are thankful for all that Dennis has done and honored to have him lead Flash as an IT & business change agent as he continues to drive tremendous value for our customers and team,” Mikles said.
