Flash Porter Gains Wi-Fi Capability during Kickstarter Incubation – Becomes Portable File Server to Smartphone and Tablets

Flash Porter is a hand-held high-capacity storage device that is designed to directly backup photos and videos from smartphones and digital cameras easily and quickly. The recent addition of Wi-Fi allows Flash Porter to become a Portable File Server to smartphones, tablets, and computers.
The original concept of Flash Porter is to provide an easy, fast, and safe way to back up and store digital photos and videos from a variety of camera devices including smartphones and action cameras.
The new Wi-Fi function allows users to wirelessly connect Flash Porter as a Portable File Server to viewing devices like smartphones, tablets, and computers. These devices will be able to directly view the photos and videos stored on Flash Porter. They will also be able to perform wireless file transfer to copy files to and from Flash Porter and allow editing using photo and video editor apps running on the viewing device.
Sharing with groups also becomes much easier with Flash Porter as a Portable File Server. Multiple viewing devices will be able to connect with Flash Porter at the same time to view and access its files.
