Florida Day of the Dead Celebration Announces New Partnership
Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) September 14, 2016 -- Florida Day of the Dead Celebration announces new partnership with the Mexican American Council (MAC), a 35-year-old nonprofit organization that promotes traditional arts of Mexico while providing support to the children of farm workers with academic scholarships.
Event Founder, Jim Hammond said “The Day of the Dead Festival is rooted in community and our new partnership with MAC will help us honor this ancient Mexican tradition by directly supporting and building local community through the arts”
Students from the new Mariachi School will perform throughout the Florida Day of the Dead event on November 2nd 2016. The Florida Day of the Dead Celebration has earmarked a percentage of donated proceeds from the Festival to support MAC’s amazing work in the local Homestead community.
