Florida Electrical Contractors Renew August 31st

The Florida Division of Professions, Electrical Contractors' Licensing Board requires 14 hours of continuing education for each renewal cycle, and seven of the fourteen hours must be on Technical subjects. Here are the steps to renewing a Florida Electrical Contractors’ license:
Step 1. Complete all 14 of the required Florida electrical continuing education hours. Step 2. Wait for the hours to be reported to the Florida Division of Professions, Electrical Contractors' Licensing Board. Step 3. Submit the Florida license renewal form online. The required fee to renew an active Electrical Contractor license is $300 for Certified licenses and $125 for Registered licenses. There is a $50 late fee, so make sure to renew by the August 31st, 2014, deadline to keep an active license. After an individual's license has been renewed, he or she will be able to continue working as a Florida Electrical Contractor until the end of the next Florida license renewal cycle on August 31st, 2016.
