Florida Mediator Presents Webinar Providing Complimentary CLE
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) January 22, 2014 -- Florida mediator Richard Lord, shareholder of the Upchurch Watson White & Max Mediation Group, will present a complimentary lunchtime Webinar on Monday, Jan. 27, 2014. He will explore questions often asked at mediation, such as:
- “What is taking so long?”
- “Who is making the decisions?”
- “Who is doing the most talking?”
Ultimately, it all boils down to one party's wanting desperately to know “What is going on in the other room?” Florida litigators can find out and earn 1.0 general CLE credit/1.0 civil trial certification credit through The Florida Bar.
In the hour-long Webinar, Lord will share the mediator’s perspective about what is going on “over there” and even what may be going on in your own room. He will focus on the psychology and dynamics of mediation and those intangible human factors that often dictate whether a mediation will end in settlement. He will lawyers to look at the process a bit differently, which should help them to become even better advocates for their clients.
Sandy Upchurch, also a mediator with Upchurch Watson White & Max and manager of its Webinar program, says, “UWWM provides complimentary CLE webinars as a service to our clients and colleagues, and they just love it!
"We have had as many as 650 attend our online presentations and the requests for topics and more material keep coming in. We truly enjoy engaging with our clients in this manner and are proud of the quality of material we are presenting," she adds. "We hope to continue this webinar tradition long into the future and continue to seek new ideas and new technologies for getting our message out to the legal community – alternative dispute resolution in all its forms is an effective, efficient and satisfying way to way to resolve conflict.”
